Kyphon is a fast-growing company specializing in balloon technology for orthopedic applications. The company retained AAi to provide architectural design services for their new global headquarters in Sunnyvale, a 92,000-square-foot facility that consolidated three different office locations. Kyphon wanted a fresh, sophisticated look that conveyed its market position, brand image and mission and values. AAi planned and designed the company’s open and private offices, executive boardroom and training room for visiting doctors, as well as the fitness center, cafeteria, and production and assembly area. As part of this project, AAi also renovated the exterior of Kyphon's headquarters to complement the facility’s new image-enhancing interior.
