AAI was initially contracted to provide design services for the exterior renovation of the building to update the look and enhance the marketability of this long vacant building. New full height stacked glass with stone clad buttresses were added to punctuate the entrance, while accent pavers and tailored landscaping have been added to enhance the entry approach.

Upon completing the exterior work, the building immediately captured the attention of BAE Systems, a premier global defense and aerospace contractor, who quickly secured a lease of the newly restored building. BAE hired AAI to perform a complete interior remodel of the building to suit their specific needs. We designed a dynamic, light filled lobby and 85,000-sf of bright, airy office space for the regional offices of BAE's engineering personnel. BAE's goal from the outset was for the building to obtain LEED Certification. To help maintain their corporation's environmental objectives AAI's experienced LEED AP staff guided the interior design process to successfully achieve BAE's sustainability goal.
