Akamai Technologies develops software for web content and application delivery. They deliver 20% of the world's internet traffic. AAI recently completed their West Coast Headquarters in San Mateo. The 3-story, 66,047-sf facility includes an Executive Briefing Center, Network Operations Control Center (NOCC), private and open office areas, conference and break-out space, and multi-purpose break room/game room/all-hands space. AAI collaborated with Akamai and an East Coast architectural firm to create a cohesive look and feel for the Akamai brand on both coasts. Akamai is a LEED Silver Commercial Interior project.
